Event postbacks integration
Step 1 - Log in to your Ads page on the Branch dashboard.
Step 2 - Choose "Partner Management" from the left side panel.
Step 3 - Enter "Hybrid" in the search bar.
Enter your credentials
Insert your Cloud ID copied from Hybe Apps panel, it's required parameter. Next you need to click "Save" in the bottom right corner.
Hybe provides a unique CloudID for each your app (both iOS and Android) you are going to advertise.
When your ad partner will be enabled, basic postbacks for such events like "install" and "purchase" will become active automatically. If you want to track custom events like registration, level-up, or something else, you also can add additional postbacks. When you need to pass some additional data to your ad partner, you can also edit postbacks.
We also recommend giving short names for in-app events without spaces and using "_" character instead of space like "app_opened" or "new_user_registered", but not "app opened" and "new user registered".
To successfully pass us view-through installs, please add &is_imp=${(last_attributed_touch_type)!} parameter to the postback link.
Ad link creation
When you successfully enabled the integration, you can start the tracking link creation.
Step 1 - Now you need to choose an ad format. Select App Only format if you want to set up only app install or app engagement campaigns. But if you want to set up campaigns where the user should go to the web (for example, if some of your campaigns don't have an app), then you need to choose Cross-Platform Display.
Step 2 - Now you need to enter the name of your link. We recommend simple names using because it will help you to find your link faster if you'll need it in the future. Usually, your ad partner and ad format will be selected automatically but you can choose them if something went wrong. Please choose Hybe for analytics later on. Click "Configure Options" to go next.
Step 3 - At that part, you can add analytics tags and deep link data. You can use analytics tags for further segmentation, so now go to the "Analytics tags" sub-tab and select a Channel and Campaign value.
Step 4 - Here you need to click on "Create Link Now", and then you'll get your tracking link. Now you can use this link to paste it on Hybe Platform in the campaign settings section.
Step 1 - Click "Add New Postback" at the bottom-left side of the screen.
Step 2 - Here you will see a modal window with all your custom events you set up earlier and also with Branch default events. Choose an event type, enter a postback URL, and click "Save". You just configured a new event which will be passed with a newly configured postback.
Send All Events including non-attributed
We recommend you send all events by checking the appropriate box "All events" for each postback. It will help you in optimization to achieve better performance.
How to grant access to your advertising partner
If you want to make visible your app data for a separate ad partner, then add it as an agency to your Branch account. These manipulations will allow the advertising partner to access data about your app in accordance with the permissions you have defined:
Step 1 - Open "Account Settings" and go to the "Agencies" tab.
Step 2 - On this tab, click "Add New Agency".
Step 3 - In the "Add New Agency" window select Hybe from the dropdown menu and select the necessary level of access.
There are several levels of access you can choose:
No Access – no access to the dashboard.
Limited Read – has permissions to access only aggregate data.
Full Read – has permissions to access aggregate data and read-only access to all settings.
Team Member – has permissions to access aggregate data, edit channels and links, and also read-only access to app settings.
Admin – has permissions to edit all settings and export all necessary data.
Custom – set personal access to settings and aggregate data.
Then click "Invite". After that, all agency admins on the agency account will receive an invitation by email, and any agency admin can accept the invitation on behalf of his/her agency.
