Native ads

Native is the format of an ad that consists of a logo, title, image, and ad text. The main feature of the native format is its ability to adapt to the content of the site or mobile application so that the ad looks like part of the content. Due to that native ads usually show a high level of engagement.

Example of Native ad in the app:

Standard native ad in Hybe ought to contain:

  1. Logo-image 256x256 pixels;

  2. The header which should be no longer than 25 symbols including spaces;

  3. The ad text which should be no longer than 70 symbols including spaces;

  4. The domain name is determined automatically from the specified URL;

  5. The main image. Available resolutions – 600x600 (required), 1200x628 (required), 800x600 (optional), 1200x800 (optional), 1280x720 (optional). the maximum size of each file-no more than 4 Mb. We recommend adding all resolutions that you have to provide a better working of the ad in different SSPs. The more sizes you add, the more correctly the native banner will be displayed in the delivery.

  6. Formats: jpeg, jpg, png, gif.

Ad text

The ad text ought to correspond to the subject of the advertised site and describe the essence of the advertising offer.

In the ad text, you can use:

  1. Special characters: punctuation marks (.,! ? : -—) and some typography signs ( & %);

  2. Exclamation and question marks can be used only once: in the title or in the text (that is, each character can only be used once in the ad).

Not allowed:

  1. Sparse text using (writing words with spaces between c h a r a c t e r s) and text typed using caps lock, except for initial abbreviations ("USA", "NBA", etc.);

  2. Repetition of punctuation marks and permitted typography marks;

  3. Contact information specifying (phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, ICQ numbers, and other instant messaging services);

  4. HTML code using;

  5. The ad title shouldn't end with a dot;

  6. The text of the ad shouldn't contain jargon, slang, offensive expressions, obscene content that violates the law, or intended "only for adults".

The image in the ad:

  1. Must be of high quality and must not contain distortion caused by compression;

  2. The text should not take up more than 20% of the image and should be clearly readable;

  3. Match the title/text of the ad, the content of the app on which the ad is displayed.

The image shouldn't contain:

  1. Contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, email addresses, ICQ numbers, and other instant messaging services);

  2. the actual text of the advertising offer, except for slogans and other similar phrases;

  3. Text containing spelling, punctuation, and other mistakes.

URL in the ad:

The URL must match the ad's subject and work consistently. You can't use an IP address instead of a domain name.

1. Supported formats for mobile apps:

320x50, 300x250, 320x480, 480x320, 1080x1920, 1920x1080, 300x50, 320x480, 480x320, 768x1024, 1024x768 (recommended sizes highlighted in bold).

2. File type:

gif, png, jpg, jpeg.

3. For image banners (not HTML5):

  1. Image size: 320x50, 300x250, 720x1280, 1280x720, 1080x1920, 1920x1080, 300x50, 320x480, 480x320, 768x1024, 1024x768 (recommended sizes highlighted in bold).

  2. Recommended maximum size of each file is no more than 150 Kb;

  3. For 768x1024 and 1024x768 formats, recommended size is up to 4 Mb;

  4. Formats: jpeg, jpg, png, gif.

Necessary materials for production by our Creative Lab:

  1. It is advisable to attach the source code to HTML5 banners;

  2. Illustrator vector graphics in .ai, .eps formats. Undesirable sources in Corel Draw .cdr;

  3. Raster graphics in the format .psd, high-resolution photos;

  4. Branded fonts;

  5. Brand book if available.

Technical requirements for the video:

  1. Timing – No less than 6 seconds, 30 seconds or more for rewarded videos (we do not recommend to use video longer than 30 seconds but it's available on our platform);

  2. Recommended timing is 20 seconds for interstitial videos (According to Appodeal, user engagement with the 20 sec. video 14% better than with 15 sec. video, and 24% better than with 30 sec. video);

  3. Recommended video size is up to 5 MB, up to 10 MB is allowed;

  4. Video resolution: 1280x720, 720x1280, 1080x1920, 1920x1080, 320x480, 480x320, 768x1024, 1024x768, 640x390, 640x480, 300x250. 16:9 aspect ratio recommended for Fullscreen. 4:3 aspect ratio recommended for iPads;

  5. Stream requirements: video bitrate: 400-450 Kbit/s, frame rate: no more than 25 frames/s, audio bitrate: 80-100 Kbit/s. The volume level is not more than 30 dB, Total bitrate: 480-550 Kbit/s;

  6. Video format: iOS: mp4/3gpp/3gpp2/quicktime/x-m4v, Android: mp4/3gpp. Using mp4 is suitable for all operating systems. Video codec – H.264, audio codec – AAC 6. The video should not mislead the user, that is, it can not contain buttons that duplicate services and other elements.

  7. Videos of low-quality processing and with a high compression ratio are not accepted for placement (the platform reserves the right to subjective evaluation of advertising materials) we also reserve the right not to accept advertising materials, the execution of which does not comply with the internal policy of the company.
